It is free to attend and our favorite vegan food cart will be here selling her delicious food. Be ready to NERD OUT! Space is limited.

Friday, September 4, 2026: Next Fresh Friday Market on 2^nd Street in Maysville, Kentucky. 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm. Go eat dinner at Babz Bistro or Sol and Sage, or Hippie Burger then come shop the market. It can be a whole thing. The location is just lovely.

Saturday, September 26^th: To celebrate the harvest moon, we are teaming up with Graceful Serenity Yoga for a half day retreat hosted here at the farm filled with flower crown crafting using our homegrown ingredients, yoga, herbal teas and a sound bath! Register here.

Sunday, October 11^th: 2:00- 8:00. Mini Market and Music at Loving Farm featuring Nat Lefkoff in collaboration with Presa Ceramics. This will be a ticketed event.

Hello Flower Lovers!

We have completed another whirlwind of a wonderful week and are ready to kick off another one. This coming week seems a bit more mellow in terms of running the roads, but it will be full of flowers nonetheless (and a trip to Frankfort on Tuesday to bring our pre-ordered flowers and extras to sell). If you want to pickup at the farm here and need some straight bunches (all the same flower) for a diy event you are doing, get in touch to find out what we have right now.

Thanks again to anyone who supported us this week through a purchase at The Kentucky Flower Market in Frankfort. The last couple of weeks we have brought several straight bunches of flowers to sell. People have been there shopping for blooms. It is low-key addicting watching the website through the week to see if anyone has purchased anything from us! We get excited every single time. Perriee and I literally hand select each stem we bring there, hoping someone sees the beauty, uniqueness and potential of each bunch that we see. It is humbling when they do. The Maysville market was also decent this week! We came home with a lot of flowers (also took a lot!), but still sold a couple of bunches along with a few carrots, some bread and all of the garlic that we brought. The market had a special guest from the state, Sharon Spencer, who does all of the Kentucky Proud education across the commonwealth. She was literally in the street flagging down potential customers who came in because of her to shop.

Congratulations to our niece who graduated high school! We are incredibly proud of this major accomplishment for her and are so excited to see the things that come next. Because it was a late-season ceremony, multiple schools were represented so there were many different colors of cap and gowns. Honestly, this was the best graduation ceremony I have ever attended! While we were up north for her special day, I got to have a cancer follow-up appointment giving me an “all clear” for a year (yay), dropped off some flowers at our favorite Airbnb in Newport, delivered this month’s newsletter subscriber gift at North South Bakery (thanks to them for helping us with that), smashed a meal at Kung Food and had a visit with an old neighbor on our old street. Speaking of our visit, our former neighbor is selling a beautiful grandfather clock for $250, so let us know if you are in the market and we can connect you.

Hogtown was playing at the brewery on Saturday and we intended on going but simply ran out of energy. We brought a bucket of blooms to Lil Jumbo’s in the morning, did two loads of laundry that dried so perfectly on the new clothesline, made a banana bread, roasted some carrots, and worked on designing for a wedding we are flowering for in a couple of weeks! We are stoked to share these giant planters with the couple for their special day. We do have some potted plants as well, but the large pots would be too heavy to move if they were filled with soil. Because of that, we are using them as vessels for loose stems, incorporating both dried and fresh ingredients with the use of chicken wire and a flower bucket. Our prototypes are looking amazing!

Quick shoutout about celosia leaves. If you are growing them, you should absolutely be cooking the leaves as a sauteed green. They are delicious. We had learned about it a while back but just tried them this week. We have eaten three batches of them already. They taste like chard. 10/10 you must try them.

We have a lot of fun things coming up that we hope you join us for. Our OAK field day in September is going to be so much fun AND educational! Then, we have our half day retreat on September 23 with Graceful Serenity where we hope our guests feel spoiled and loved after their day here. THEN, October 11, we are having a mini market and music day with Nat Lefkoff as the musical guest, whose music is mystifying and hypnotic! Camping is an option for all events with an additional fee/trade of some sort. Spots are limited so let us know if you want us to put you down to save a spot for you. Perriee and I are literally living a dream. Please come share it with us.

Pride and Flock Update: Gray stole a bite of mozzarella cheese out of my meal. She steals snacks from everyone here- cats, ducks, and people. When you are so cute, you get a pass. At least she ate the whole chunk. There has been a lot of kitty cuddling and cuteness. We are keeping the ducks cool and collected through the next heatwave. Howard might be turning a corner. We have been letting him out a little bit more. He still ruins the whole vibe, but the intensity of his annoying is lessening.

BOLO (be on the lookout): New section of things we are looking for that you might have at your house and want to get rid of. Let us know how much, and we will make an offer! In a world full of throw-aways we want to help save some things from a landfill or just not buy it new because we all know new stuff is kind of janky these days.
