What. A. Full. Week. Perriee and I had the opportunity to spend so much quality time with great friends and met so many new people. We planted a million little seedlings, taking a chance on our cosmos, needing to get them out of their tray, in addition to the 100 starts of Sweet Annie we started. Ok, maybe not a million, but you get the gist. It is so much fun having actual rows with cover crop to dig into for planting. The soil is not perfect but it is so much better to work with than the lawn it was only a few years ago.

Shoutout to the group from Maysville who came out to the farm to see what were up to here. It was so much fun talking about growing tulips for cut flower production. I think next year we need to host a half hour class about exactly that. Speaking of tulips, they are about wound down and we are so grateful for being able to share them with you all- both for the retail and wholesale orders. We are humbled by the support! Peonies are coming on now, so it won’t be long…

The cats are spectacular. Mia might get an epsom soak this evening, as she is not feeling so hot but we are hopeful she is just having a blip of an egg issue. We will keep you posted.

Update: After a soak and some rest, there was a flat egg in the run on Monday morning. She looks like she feels a lot better. We will just keep an eye out for her this week (well, always).

We have full weeks coming ahead so hope to see yas at some of the places! It is a joy to grow for you all.
