Parking

You may either pull into a spot along Nepton Road or park around the center circle in front of the Warehouse (the largest rectangle along Florence Lane) or on the other side of Florence Lane.

Safety First

  • Wear appropriate shoes for the day. If going on a tour, you should wear comfortable shoes that can get dirty.
  • Stay on the mowed paths. There is the potential for lots of surprises in the tall, grassy spots (ground hornets, snakes, etc.)
  • We have the bugs! Please bring an Epi pen if needed.
  • Check for ticks when you get home and put your clothes in the dryer at minimum. Ticks carry a lot of disease. They will likely start at your feet and work their way up. Check your underclothes and everywhere around them in addition to your head.
  • There are many moles and groundhogs that make holes. You will find some on the paths with your feet. We try to manage them, but be aware!
  • If you need a walking stick, just ask! Some of the walking trails are uneven. We use them too sometimes, so don’t hesitate to get an assist.
  • Fleming County Hospital is the closest and then Meadowview is within 25 minutes. Of course, call 911 in an emergency.
  • For the comfort of our resident cats and ducks, we ask that you do not bring your canine friends. Please give them belly rubs in appreciation!

Now let’s have some fun!
