Loving Farm
Our farm’s name is inspired by Mildred and Richard Loving, who fought for the right to be together at a time when their love was labeled illegal. Their life made our story possible.
Loving Farm is a small scale regenerative flower farm on Adena, Hopewell, Osage, Shawnee and Cherokee historical land.
Nestled between a railroad track and Johnson Creek we welcome diversity of all types, whether it be people, plant, or animal and strive to work in balance with it all.
Our mission is to approach our business first from the perspective of love and strive to be a space for continued learning for us and all who pass through.
Established April 1, 2020, Loving Farm has grown into a space for workshops, music, connection with nature, volunteer days, as well a small venue for folks to rent who are looking for a space to host a party and show love to the land at the same time!
We grow our flowers, herbs, and vegetables for sale (as abundance permits) without the use of chemical inputs. Flower sales include dried or fresh flowers in bulk, bouquets, or wreaths and we offer vase rental arrangements for small, local events.
Both transplants from the city, Perriee from Chicago and Marietta from Cleveland, we met in Cincinnati and moved to Ewing from Newport, Kentucky in 2020. We are two women still learning how to be the best stewards of this space as possible. Please subscribe to receive our free weekly newsletter and stay updated on what is happening on the farm. We have a monthly drawing for anyone on the list to get a floral gift direct from us which we can mail if you are not local.
