Upcoming Events and Updated Website!

Important dates:

October 25: Catch us at Turtleback Ridge Brewery for the Hainted Jamboreeeeee makers’ market. We will be set up under the big tent with some of our Loving Farm crafts and treats. There will definitely be Perriee’s amazing “kettle corn” for sale as well as dried flower art made with chemical free-flowers and herbs grown right here on our farm.

October 26: Plein Air painting day from 2:00 to 5:30 with our friend Kit from Artmarkit Covington. If you have ever wanted to paint a landscape is the perfect time to dip your brush in and do it. Kit will provide some guidance to kick you off on an amazing landscape painting experience. Space is limited (capping at 20 people) in order to ensure everyone gets ample support through the event. The cost will be $40/person, which will include a brief lesson, art supplies and some light refreshments. No experience is necessary!

November 1: monthly email subscription giveaway drawing!

April 25th, 2026: Third Annual Earth Day Celebration at Loving Farm! Mark your calendars. We will be having a day filled with fun and music and food (a return of the vegan hot dog truck is in the works) with some new additions (maybe a sound bath to kick off the day?).

Hi Flowerers! The creative juices have been flowing here this week. Design days are on the calendar for our upcoming maker events and dried-flower marriage celebration we have coming up. Perriee has been making some beautiful sage and flower wraps, I have a couple of wreaths hanging on the wall and we have some denim sewing machine needles waiting for a test run on some 2025 catnip kickers.

I spent some time updating the website this week, revamping our “Support Local Links” page which you should most definitely look at. It is a list of some local favorite businesses of ours which we feel you should consider supporting if the occasion arises. Of course, check out your local farmers markets and shops in whatever area you are in too, but we stand by these places in a way a big box store could never compete with.

We care deeply for the humans who operate these businesses and also know that everyone on that list cares about us in turn. It is a special way to trade money for things. Feel free to forward this to someone you know that does need that little connection in the marketplace. I am admittedly a feelings person, and spending money this way just feels better. I’m a weirdo, I know. If you don’t have a place that you commerce with in this manner, please let us know if we can help. But saying that, I suppose that would not apply to this audience, since just spending your precocious time reading this newsletter supports our business, and we feel the love directly!

In addition to the “Support Local Links” page, I have also updated the “Farm Events and Reservations” and “Flowers and Design” pages, reorganizing the information in hopes of being more useful to anyone browsing around the website. We really want to host some flower art and nature days this winter, so check out the Private Nature Walk and Talk with Bouquet Bar offering. Bookings are open, as soon as a week out, as long as our calendars align! It is a spectacular way to stay connected with nature during the cold months. We will take a walk on the trails to warm our bodies followed by some design time in a cozy space with some warm beverages and snacks. Indoor lodging options for those traveling are also an option for adults so don’t let your distance prevent you from a little respite! Whose in?
